Designing Cluster-based Cooperative Massive MIMO enabled Hybrid MAC Protocol for Reliable and Efficient UAVs Communication in 5G and beyond through Artificial Intelligence

Recently, increases have been observed in the frequency and negative effects of natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods with climate changes. Solutions are sought for the evaluation of these disasters, reacting quickly and effectively against damages and healing mechanisms. On the other hand, deficiencies in communication and situational awareness will reduce the effectiveness of the proposed solutions. For this purpose, the use of UAVs in disaster management is of great importance in the evaluation and reaction stages due to its advantages such as cost, time, size, and safety for a durable communication network. In this context, the aim of this project is to utilize UAVs and design an efficient FANET in order to manage UAV-assisted emergency networks in disasters and to use UAVs in disaster assistance etc. Thus, emergency networks will help to setup communication and meet data traffic in disaster as well as will save peoples life through disaster assistance.
